Most Important Keyboard Shortcuts To Use in Windows

If you've been using a PC for any length of time then you've likely used many of the most important keyboard shortcuts there are. There are those that are more commonly known, and those that are less well known. Let's start with the most used shortcut: the Control Key. It's used to bring up the Control Panel. It also makes it easier to move around your desktop using the right-click menu.

Next is the Control + Option + Home combination. This combination opens up your desktop and displays your windows explorer. Along with this shortcut there are many others that are less well known. For example, pressing Control + R will reset your screen. Similarly, hitting Control + T will erase all of your open tabs or browser windows.

Finally, let's take a look at the shortcut that is probably the least used: the F12 shortcut. This clicks the magic wand that starts up Microsoft Windows. There are actually many different uses for the magic wand, but pressing and hold the wand will bring up the Task Manager. The F12 shortcut is used to exit out of all programs and windows.

These are just a few of the shortcuts that are commonly used on the keyboard. There are probably many other smaller shortcuts as well that you don't know about. But learning how to use these shortcuts in the correct way can make working with the computer much more enjoyable.

The first shortcut is the standard F7 key which is used to open the menu. Pressing this shortcut will cause your window to expand so that you can see all of the options available. From here you can select "Settings" to go back to your desktop. You can also select "restart" to reboot your PC. The F7 key combination can be used by pressing it again from the menu if you want to exit out of your desktop screen.

The second shortcut is the standard left-click on your keyboard. This will cause Windows to show an option. When you select this option, your cursor will turn into a cross so that you can point to any window. You can use the mouse to click on this option or you can use the right-click and then click on your mouse to perform this action. You can perform many actions with the right-click and then left-click, depending on which one you prefer.

The third shortcut is the standard right-click on your mouse. This shortcut is used for the Print Spooler tool which is found in the Control Panel. By using this shortcut you will be able to save all of your most recent work without saving the file in your primary printer. The right-click and the mouse click will both cause your computer to highlight the files that you want to save.

The fourth shortcut that you should know about is the Windows search shortcut. This shortcut is located in the Start Menu at the bottom left-hand corner of your desktop. Using this shortcut will cause Windows to open up a search box on your desktop. You are then able to type in a specific keyword or phrase that you want to perform a search on.

The fifth shortcut that is very useful is the print button on your keyboard. This shortcut is usually used when you need to print something, but you do not want to move your mouse to the print button. All you have to do is press the right-click on this shortcut and then click on the print option. The Print button will then be displayed on your screen.

The sixth shortcut that you should know about is the page up and page down keys. These keys can be used on most keyboards. When you use these keys you will be able to scroll up and down pages. Also, when you press the left-click or the right-click on these buttons you will make your keyboard to move up or down one page.

The last shortcut that you should know about is the delete button. This is one shortcut that is not often used by most people. However, if you use this button you will be able to delete text from your keyboard. By using the up and down keys, you will be able to go down to the first line of text and the down arrow will help you go to the last line of text. By pressing the delete key when you are on a text the text will become deleted.
